In the Winter of 2015 we were coming back from the Mountain after a weekend snowboarding. Our house at that time in Taumarunui was only used as a holiday home and as we started to drive back we realized that the Wiper motor on our 4 x 4 was not working and it was raining heavily meaning it would be quite dangerous for us to drive back in those conditions. As we drove down Hakiaha st we noticed that Ruapehu Auto Electrical appeared to be open on a Sunday much to our surprise. We thought we would just ask for some advice being the Sunday but we met the owner Sam Tweedie who was working on his Jet boat at the time and Sam was extremely helpful and took time out of his Sunday to help us and rigged up a temporary fix which was enough to allow us to get home safely. We will never forget this and were really impressed by Sam’s ingenuity, attitude and generosity. Thanks Sam. We have now chosen to Live in Taumarunui and because of this act of kindness will remain a loyal customer to Ruapehu Auto Electrical and recommend them highly to anyone who needs Auto electrical or Mechanical services

Sam is the man! And his team are awesome! I have been taking my truck to Sam and his team for over 4 years now. He's the only one I will use in our town. Hope the next owner is as cool as Sam.

Our van broke down so we got stuck in Taumarunui and needed to get it fixed as quickly as possible. Sam and Neil were more than happy to help us out. The two of them are amazing! Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable if you need work done these are your guys to do it! Never trusted a garage this much before. Thanks!
